Christmas 2010

Well I promised myself I would try and write on my blog more to keep records of everything we do. There might not be many pictures but at least I will know what happens in my life, mainly because I can barely remember what happen last week.
Well Christmas time was amazing with a two year old and a baby. A few days before Christmas Chris's mother came into town and it was great having her here for the holiday. On Thur before Christmas we went to a ugly sweater party at my brothers house. I did my hair like Cindy Who and Chris looks great. It was a lot of fun and Chris's mom watched the kids. The next day was Christmas eve and we went to my parents house for dinner and presents. The dinner was great and presents were fun with both two year olds. the next morning when Cavyn woke up and saw all that Santa had brought it was great. He couldn't decide what toys to play with and what ones to unwrap. It was fun. We played all morning with the kids, and then made a great huge dinner. Chris and Amy came over for dinner. Today we had to take Chris mom to the airport and got home and started putting away toys and such. It was a great holiday, and I am sad it is over. When I download pictures I will share.

Summer Fun

We have been having a great summer so far. We are getting pretty settled into our new place and love it. The drive for both of us is a little long but it is worth the quiet town, great neighborhood, and being close to my parents. We have a fun little pool in the neighborhood which Cavyn just loves. I try and take him at least onces a week, last week Grandma Glorioso came with us which was great. Christie, Maddy, and Melissa have also come along a few times. Cavyn loves playing with other kids so much that Maddy comes over a lot, and we have had a play date with Adrian and Gage as well lately. Christie, Mom, Maddy, Lexi, Cavyn, and I also got to go to the zoo again which is like Cavyn's favorite place. We also got to go to the Farm with Neshamah and Adrian today which Cavyn had fun, even though he was mad that the flies won't leave the cows alone, and then a cow licked him. Other then that he loved it, oh yeah he was scared of the pony and won't ride it. Instead we walked the pony. He is learning so much so fast I barely can keep up with him. He has such a great imaginations and loves to take his cars out for rides. Melissa tries to watch him onces a week which he loves, and mom still watches him four days a week.

As for Chris and I we decided on where to have our wedding in March and we are doing it at the Fountains at Loveland. I am super excited except I am so tired from work, Cavyn, getting the house unpacked, and being pregnant that planning a wedding sadly is coming last on my list. I need to get a move on it. We only have 11 more weeks until Nycolette is born which isn't much time at all. I am feeling actually pretty good, my body is sore all the time but that might be from never stopping.

Melissa and Erik are coming out in August which I can't wait for. Also we are doing our family camping trip at the end of this month, Chris's mom is coming out in August, and Chris is going to Sturgies (spelled way wrong) in August. Then September we have Cavyn's birthday, and the baby. WOW when it is written down it seems like a lot but so much fun. Hopefully I don't have the baby early, which just don't have time for that. She needs to come in September. Well here are some pictures enjoy.

Getting So Big

This spring has been so wonderful. As you already know we are living at my parents until we close on our house which is June 3rd. Cavyn seems to be changing so much. Lets see... He loves to say hello, hi, and sometimes heyo to everyone, and bye bye too. He even says bye bye to himself when changing his diaper.. He is starting to say more two to three work sentences, which is great. He said Bye Uncle Tom the other day, daddys car keys. Oh yes Cavyn is just like his dad in so many ways one being that he LOVES cars. he always talks about cars, and how they sound, and what they do. I have troubling years ahead when he learns to drive. He can tell you what a dog, cat, lion, dinosaur and other animals say. Cavyn is also getting really good at telling the dogs to stop barking, bye saying "Stop Dogs, Stop." he runs to the door, and starting yelling at them with such a serious look on his face. He also doesn't like if they are in the kitchen while we are eating and says "out dog, boo, ringo." He is growing up so fast. He knows there is a baby in my belly and is sure to tell her hello, and bye bye throughout the day. He touches my stomach, and lets her kick him.

Update

Well I know I have been slacking on this blog thing but life has been really busy and by the looks of things it won't be slowing down any time soon. So whats been happening? Well first off Chris took me out to dinner on April 10th to the Melting Pot, and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES YES YES!!!! I am so excited. He also told me that we are buying a house. It was a very exciting night. SO we moved out of our Rim Rock house and moved in with my parents or a month until we close on our house. We found out on April 29th that we are having a girl! yes a GIRL! We are thrilled and scared. Two kids one boy one girl how lucky are we. We decided on her name to be Nycolette Londyn Nelson. Oh what a wonderful time we are having right now.

Winter Time

Well Cavyn and I have been snowed into the house for three days now. The first day we cleaned, and cleaned, well I did and Cavyn messed everything up right behind me. It was awesome. The Second Day we slept, layed around, watched a movie, and played. Today we are starting to go stir crazy so we played, and then went outside into the snow. Cavyn loves snow just like his dad and would have stayed outside all day if I let him. He started out by yelling at all the neighbor dogs for barking and then tried to walk up the steep drive way. Then we went into the backyard and he laughed while chasing Ringo around, and watched neighbor kids sled.
After playing in the snow we decided to make hot chocolate, and crackers, and of course get back into our PJ's.

We also put the toddler bed together for Cavyn this month and he thought it was the best thing ever. The first few nights he slept in it he would play in his room for a little while and then fall asleep by his door. He fell out of bed a few times so we had to but up another guard for him. But he loves it.

He also had to teach daddy how to put the bed together and was yelling at him during the processes. He is the boss of the house. Chris and I got to go to Black Hawk earlier this week to spend the night just the two of us for Valentines day. We had an amazing time and I won $300.00. YAY!.

Cavyn and I made a chocolate cake together and if you can't tell most of it went in his mouth.

First Trimester

Well I am well into my sixth week and I most say that I have never felt sick for so long in my life. There is not a minute of my days that I don't think I should be far from a bucket or toilet. I hate morning sickness, I try telling myself that it will all be over hopefully in six more weeks. I need advice on how to get rid of feeling this way, it makes it nearly impossible to feed my kid when I can't stand the smell of anything. (don't worry Cavyn is being feed ALOT). Needless to say I love being pregnant just not the first trimester. If you have any cures to this feeling then help me.

Big News

Well have been pretty busy here with Gymnastics for Cavyn on Fridays which let me just tell you is so much fun. Cavyn has a great time jumping on the tramps, tumbling, and doing a hole lot of energy burning. We have also gone to Bounce or Jumpin a few times which a big jumping castles and slides and more just for little kids. Cavyn loves it, and I am pretty tired afterward too. Chris has gone snowboaring, working a lot, and just spending time with Cavyn and me. Really so far its been a great winter I am so thankful for everything. We have been spending a lot of time with our friends Jamie and Travis and their son Gage. They are expecting another baby in April so I have been going over and hanging out with her and Gage and Cavyn to help out a little. Plus Cavyn loves playing with Gage.

On other news we found out last weekend that we are expecting a baby in September! We are super excited and praying hard that everything goes okay in the pregnancy. I am very early in the pregnancy and we are just praying hard we don't have a miscarriage. So please pray for us. We are so excited to have a baby two years after Cavyn almost to the date. We are due September 29th (Cavyn's bday is September 19th.) we must just have something with September....
